November 10, 2010 Dear Tonya, I am 52 years old and have been 80-90% raw for 7 years. It is still a struggle. Recently, I have gained 10 lbs. and am having problems with my feet. This past weekend I did a 3 day fast and reread parts of Quantum Eating and Your Right To Be Beautiful. I decided that I needed to get back to the inspiration I had found previously in your books. I felt great all weekend including during my two Bikram Yoga classes. In fact,

I found more range of motion in many of the poses. I was so happy! It's been a while since I've felt progress in yoga. On Monday morning, I weighed myself and to my surprise, I had lost 8 lbs! My pudgy stomach was gone, my face was thinner and my foot did not hurt. I realized the problem was SALT. Since Monday I have been back to 100% raw and the stomach is still flat, foot pain is less, and my partner keeps telling me how great I look. We decided to do a 3 day fast the first weekend of each month and one day a week. I'm hoping to avoid foot surgery and keep the weight off. I just wanted to thank you for all you do. I went to my first Bikram yoga class last Tuesday and I am going back this afternoon! While I was there, I couldn’t believe it because, not a long time ago, it was something impossible for me. No classes around and no time. I subscribed for one month to see, and I will mix it with my martial arts class. I think it will be a fantastic mix. 2 Bikram classes and 2 karate classes a week. After the month, I will see if I give up on one. Thank you very much for your example. You inspire me so much. -S. November 3, 2010 Very excited about this book [Quantum Eating]. I started a raw food lifestyle in May of this year. I have reversed diabetes and lost 70 lbs. I have been struggling over the past month to continue. This eating plan makes SO much sense to me. November 1, 2010 Kelli, trust you are doing okay. Am well too and the weather here in Kenya is good, so I am really enjoying green smoothies. I didn’t know I would ever enjoy them. I am starting to get hooked on them. I finished reading the two books and wow, all I can say is that the book was just what I needed. Kudos to Tonya. I am also loving the facial brush, my skin looks so good, I am loving it. I am still hooked to cooked food but am working on it slowly. I have stopped taking milk and wow, what a difference.
