Tonya. More men need to understand the benefits of facial exercises. I’m 55 now and have been at it for about 15 years. My face is fuller now than when I was in my late 30′s! When family or friends have mentioned I don’t have that many if any wrinkles most snicker or make a joke (especially the men) when I tell them to exercise the facial muscles. Some folks will never understand that muscles grow above the neck too! I’m an entertainer and never use makeup, ever, can’t stand the stuff. Filmed this about 5 months ago. You can see the buildup if you are familiar with facial muscles. Get the word out to more men! Tonya, I ordered your ebook on face exercises when it first came out…About a year ago or more I decided I was going to do them more consistently and…I now do them about 5x a week. I had printed out your ebook and … keep it near my bathroom. Every day I do the face exercises, I also read a page of the book. So I have now read the ebook through many times. I think doing this has kept me consistent and motivates me. I do see a difference in my facial muscles and they have been quite helpful in helping in the war against facial muscle atrophy and gravity. I am 66 years old and when I recently told my age to a lady, she looked surprised and said it must be my raw diet (I am not 100% raw). And I thought to myself “and facial exercises.” Thank you so much for your inspiring books and website and emails.
For the last one month or so I have already stopped eating at night and that itself has saved me from so much trouble of eating cooked food and later feeling guilty. Life is getting more and more beautiful with so much time in the evening and stomach empty and hell of a lot of energy. Thank you, Thank you and again Thank you. Thank you Tonya. Thank u so much. Your dry brushing advice gave me miracles and facial exercises too. But i still couldn’t be 100% raw. But i always try to add raw salad for my meal.
Hi Tonya, in January, I will be raw for almost a year now (ok, I am mostly raw and yes 100% raw on some days)…I do facial exercise (2 years)…and these new rollers have made a big difference in my skin (started 8/12).
For the first time in forever, I can look at myself in the mirror and like what I see. That was happening already but this has clinched it. I think that I am getting these great results b/c of my raw lifestyle and the exercises that already made my face toned and properly contoured.
I still use your Bed of Pins on my hair (new hair!!!!!) and on my face 3x a week. I think the combo of both rollers is perfect for me….I am getting compliments for the first time and this quick turnaround has to be aided by being raw…It actually makes me want to stay raw!!!
I am VERY happy….everything is finally coming together…the weight has come back ( i was terribly thin from going raw and looked bad)….the exercises after 2 years has given my face the volume and contours it had….and I’m getting rid of some wrinkles in the corners of my mouth that made me look old and forlorn. My skin is thickening and plumper (younger looking) and my large pores are small…its really hard to believe its me. I will always owe everything to you!
Dear Tonya, I love your products, love the rolling pins, your facial exercises and, am a devoted reader of your newsletter and blog. Your skin care is highest quality and has make a big difference in my appearance. However, I would also love to use make up made by you! Do you make your own face primer, concealer and foundation? Do you have products you can recommend? I am especially looking for a natural silicone free primer to reduce the appearance of pores and uneven texture. Thanks for beautifying the world!
I have your books (currently 6 mos. raw but fall of the wagon now and then ugh). I use your brush and bed of pins, facial exercises and moisturizer. I go back to your books when I slip because your writing is absolutely incredible and you motivate me more than anything.
I want to thank you for the great inspiration provided in your books (especially your Right to Be Beautiful and Quantum eating). I have been trying to follow a low fat raw vegan diet during more than 2 years without success, but gathering momentum from your books I got myself through the 40 day raw vegan peak, following a caloric restricted raw diet of fresh and organic vegetables with 16 hours of fasting per day. Hi. I saw Tonya on YouTube demonstrating deep tissue facial massage. So far I’ve done this last night Friday and Saturday. Already I’ve noticed a difference for the better! I’m in menopause and my complexion has lost its glow and my face is sagging. I’ve tried so many products and nothing seems to help. In my 30?s and 40?s I would get compliments all the time on my complexion. But now even makeup doesn’t help. I want to thank Tonya for her information and she is a great example of the technique. …There is hope for me. Thank you Tonya!!
I will be 50 in two weeks. I just started performing the facial exercises a week ago and can already see some difference. There is already a slight lift above my eyes, my nose looks different, and the droop is not as pronounced on the upper sides of my mouth. I drive a lot at night and do the exercises in the car (no one can see me!) that don’t require my hands. Others I fit in here and there when I have a minute of privacy during the day. So I am getting most of the exercises in multiple times each day. I can’t wait to see what a month of these exercises will do for me. You look absolutely beautiful and are a great inspiration.
