Celery and Apple Juice

Recipe Author: Beautiful on Raw

Time for cleansing. You know I’m a big believer in juicing—for years, I’ve been juicing all sorts of vegetables. But lately, I’ve gone a specific way: celery-and-apple juice. The core idea…Plain celery juice, 8 to 16 ounces of it, is the best and the easiest way to keep your juicing practice going. But I find the need to add one small apple. Doubtless it’s the lingering sugarholic in me, still demanding some sweetness in my daily juice. I won’t fight it—I figure consistency and enjoyment of the process is more important than any arbitrary notion of “purity.”

Banana Cinnamon Rolls

Recipe Author: Beautiful on Raw

Here’s the ultimate raw vegan twist on the classic cinnamon roll. Bread is replaced by banana slices, combined with a paste of dates, honey, and cinnamon. You can’t forget icing! So, cover these with a delicious cream of cashews, pumpkin, and raw honey to celebrate the holiday season in style.

To make these banana rolls, we use dehydrated banana slices. Perhaps this recipe’s only limitation is that you need a dehydrator. Your filling should be sweet, spicy, and sticky to keep the rolls firm. Putting them in the fridge for a couple of hours helps improve their firmness.

Vegan Pineapple Ceviche: A Tropical Twist on a Latin Classic

Recipe Author: Beautiful on Raw

If you love Latin American cuisine, you've likely heard of ceviche, a traditional dish featuring raw fish marinated in citrus juice. But if you're vegan or prefer not to eat fish, you can savor the ceviche experience with a delightful pineapple twist.

Pineapple ceviche offers a refreshing and healthful departure from the traditional fish-based recipe. Pineapple boasts ample vitamin C for immune support and contains bromelain, an enzyme aiding digestion. This means that not only is pineapple ceviche delicious, but it's also good for you.

Beetroot Pepper Smoothie

Recipe Author: Beautiful on Raw

A friend suggested this recipe to me. She says it's the only way she can get beet juice in, considering it a "non-alcoholic cocktail." It's not the healthiest cocktail alternative, and you wouldn't want to use it as your regular juice. (I don't recommend using salt in a juice or smoothie.) But if you're a newcomer to juicing beets, you might want to try this recipe.

This juice combines beets, hot pepper, and strawberries. This intense flavor is bolstered by mixing it with a pinch of salt. It has a salty, sweet, and spicy flavor.
