•    1 cup almonds, raw and unsalted
•     salt to taste


Rinse and soak almonds in water for 8 hours or overnight to soften.
Drain and optional: peel almonds for a smoother butter.
Blend soaked almonds in a food processor for 5 minutes or until smooth.
Add salt, blend for another minute.
Store almond butter in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
